Located in a peninsula on the southernmost part of the United States, Florida boasts hundreds of miles of beautiful coasts and beaches. Florida is practically what separates the waters from the Atlantic Ocean and of the Gulf of Mexico. It is also the closest point from the United States to Cuba. In fact, back when liquor was banned in the United States, Americans would set sail in the middle of the night to get to Havana. All to enjoy some (or several) glasses of mojito.

What makes Florida even more of an exceptional coastline is its sunny climate. As the “sunshine state”, you can pretty much visit Florida any day of the year and expect some pretty good weather. This is what draws so much crowd to the state. It is so popular among tourists that tourism has long surpassed any industry in the state.

Being close to the edge, Florida also has some of the fastest-growing immigrant populations. It is actually the third most diverse state in America. With so much diversity you can, therefore, expect an abundance of good food, music, and art.
